Storia
Grape growing and first wine\nThe Magnabosco family first sold their grapes to other producers. Monte Tondo made its own wine for the first time in 1980, selling it in large 50-liter bottles.\n\n### 1990: investment\nIn 1990 Gino Magnabosco made a substantial investment in the winery and equipped it with modern winemaking and bottling machinery. He also bought vineyards of volcanic origin in some of the best sites in the Soave area.\n\n### Recognition\nIn April 2005 an independent jury named his Soave Classico Superiore the best Soave in the entire area. In 2006 the wine received three glasses from Gambero Rosso. Monte Tondo is now considered a benchmark for quality in Soave.\n\n### Today\nThe winery is run by the third generation of the family: Gino Magnabosco and his daughters, Marta and Stefania.
