Vineyard and terroir
Morando’s vineyards lie on hillsides in the provinces of Asti, Cuneo and Alessandria.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. Before vinification, the must is held in a refrigerated chamber at −2 °C, then transferred to dedicated tanks for fermentation. Fermentation is stopped when the pressure reaches 4 bar.
Tasting profile
The wine has gentle sweetness and a vibrant character.
Label / history
Morando was founded at the end of the 19th century to preserve Piedmont’s winemaking traditions.
