Questo vino
Grapes
Pinot Noir forms the sparkling-wine base. The liqueur d’expédition is made to a proprietary recipe using Passito di Nika, produced from Zibibbo grapes dried beneath the Pantelleria sun.
Vineyard and terroir
The Pinot Noir comes from selected vineyards in Oltrepò Pavese in northern Italy, while the Zibibbo component originates on the southern island of Pantelleria.
Vinification
The wine combines a Pinot Noir sparkling base with a liqueur d’expédition derived from Passito di Nika.
Tasting profile
The bubbles bring freshness, complemented by the aromatic elegance of sun-dried Zibibbo.
Label / history
Bollicine di Nika grew from Nicolò’s ambition to create an Italian sparkling wine after his experience in the cellars of Pol Roger. The concept brings together the freshness of northern Italian Pinot Noir and the richness and perfume of Pantelleria Zibibbo.
