Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie near the commune of Gibellino at 250 metres above sea level, with a planting density of 4,400 vines per hectare. Sicily’s hot climate gives the wine a vibrant, powerful character.
Vinification
The grapes undergo 12 days of skin maceration at 26 °C. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests for four months before release.
