Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
Each of the four varieties is grown in its own region of Italy, which preserves its individual character.
Grapes
Each variety has its own role in the blend: Montepulciano provides structure and depth, Primitivo brings ripe fruit and warmth, Merlot softens the texture, and Nero d'Avola adds spice and dark berry notes.
Vinification
After harvest the grapes are crushed and the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, to preserve a clean fruit profile.
Ageing
The wine is aged for 6 months in oak barrels, which rounds the flavours and adds subtle woody notes.
Tasting profile
Rich yet elegant, with balance between richness and elegance. Structure and depth come from Montepulciano, ripe fruit and warmth from Primitivo, a softer texture from Merlot, and spice and dark berry notes from Nero d'Avola. Clean fruit, rounded flavours and subtle woody notes.
Label / history
The starry sky on the label refers to ancient Italian ideas about the cosmos and the harmony of the universe, a symbol of the balance also found in the wine's character.
