Tasting profile
Bright ruby red. Small additions of Malvasia and Trebbiano contribute to its vivid colour and fresh character. Cherry and plum dominate the fruity bouquet, joined by delicate spice and aromatic-herb notes. Low tannins give the palate a smooth, light texture.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 12–14 °C. Its freshness and moderate alcohol suit tapas and pizza.
Label / history
Mario Primo revisits the style of Chianti made during the 1930s. Its formula takes inspiration from Mario “Primo” Piccini, the second generation of the family, who developed the model almost a century ago.
