Vineyard and terroir
The wine comes from vines averaging 40 years of age.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and sorted at the winery. Maceration and alcoholic fermentation take place in large oak casks.
Ageing
The wine remains on its lees for 11 months, with weekly bâtonnage, followed by a further seven months in bottle.
Label / history
Olivers was among the area’s oldest vineyards restored by Pierpaolo Pecorari during his first years managing the estate after taking it over in 1973.
