Podernovo becomes part of the unified Tenute Lunelli identity
After a period of development and experimentation begun in Tuscany in the early 2000s, the Lunelli family brought Podernovo and its other still-wine properties together under the Tenute Lunelli identity. Sustainability, elegance and longevity were identified as their shared principles, while each estate was expected to preserve the identity and traditions of its own region.
Podernovo had already become the first estate in the family group to obtain organic certification in 2012. The new identity also used phases of the moon to symbolise the importance of time in ripening grapes and maturing wines. The project was formally presented in Rome on 3 September 2014.
