Vineyard and terroir
The Sangiovese comes from Radda in Chianti. The vineyards were planted between 1994 and 2004, have a density of 5,000 vines per hectare and are trained to Guyot.
Harvest takes place in two stages: half of the grapes are picked during the last week of August or the first week of September, while the remaining half is collected during the final ten days of September or the first week of October.
