Label / history
The name Modus comes from Latin words meaning “method” and “measure.” First produced in 1997, it was Ruffino’s first Supertuscan and was conceived as a contemporary interpretation of balance among grape varieties, vines, sunlight, land and craftsmanship. The 2007 vintage entered Wine Spectator’s 2010 Top 100 Wines.
