Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the heart of Puglia, in the land of Primitivo di Manduria, where sunshine and sea breezes shape every bunch. The soil is stony and lends the wine energy.
Grapes
Primitivo gives power and brightness. Negroamaro adds depth and a velvety texture. Malvasia Nera softens the blend and brings harmony.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, with only ripe, healthy berries selected. The must ferments in stainless steel tanks under careful temperature control.
Ageing
The wine spends 6 months in stainless steel, in the same tanks used for fermentation, to preserve the freshness and pure character of each variety.
Tasting profile
Bold and free-spirited, with power and brightness from Primitivo, depth and a velvety texture from Negroamaro, and a harmonious, softened blend thanks to Malvasia Nera. The stony soil gives an energy felt on the palate.
Label / history
"Anarkos" means "anarchist". The Felline winery belongs to the "Accademia dei Racemi" project created by Gregory Perrucci, and plays a leading role in reviving the Primitivo di Manduria grape. It takes its name from the ancient area of Felline near Manduria, on the Ionian Sea coast, where legend says Saint Peter landed in 45 CE on his way to Rome to preach Christianity.
