Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the commune of Manduria, in the province of Taranto. The vines grow in fertile soils with deep limestone deposits and yield 7–9 tonnes per hectare.
Grapes
Primitivo may be blended with up to 10% of another red variety.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand from late August to early September.
Ageing
The wine matures in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile
The nose is spicy. The palate is generous and fresh, with a lingering finish.
