Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown on the Salento peninsula in Puglia, southern Italy, where Vermentino is cultivated in a sunny coastal climate.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested toward the end of August and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place entirely in stainless-steel vessels.
Ageing
The wine is aged entirely in stainless steel to retain freshness and varietal aromas.
Tasting profile
Full-flavoured and fresh, with the variety’s aromas preserved by vinification and ageing in stainless steel.
Label / history
The winery takes its name from the ancient area of Felline, near Manduria on the Ionian coast. According to legend, Saint Peter landed there in 45 AD while travelling to Rome to preach Christianity. Felline is part of the “Accademia dei Racemi” project founded by Gregory Perrucci.
