Fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, followed by 10 months of maturation in bottle.
Label / history
Astuto originated in Barone Ricasoli’s exploration of new approaches to important Tuscan wines. It was created in collaboration with the Podere Sapaio estate, with the direct involvement of Barone Ricasoli winemaker Carlo Ferrini.
