Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The Negroamaro fruit is grown in Salento, in vineyards at about 100 m above sea level. Fairly high average annual temperatures and scarce rainfall result in small grapes with concentrated flavour.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified under controlled temperatures.
Tasting profile
Rich tannins and pleasant berry flavours reflect the character of Negroamaro.
Label / history
The grape’s name refers to its particularly dark skins: nero and mavro mean “dark” and “black.” Santeresa comprises four single-varietal wines.
