Vineyard and terroir
The estate lies in the Pisa Hills, 25 km from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Its 400 ha include 22 ha of organically cultivated vineyards at 160–200 m above sea level. The dry, well-ventilated Mediterranean climate is moderated by proximity to the coast. The soils have a mineral character associated with their marine origins. Planting density ranges from 6,000 to 10,000 vines per hectare, with low yields per vine.
