Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are situated on the Sulcis hills, on slopes descending toward the sea. In the sandy parts of Sulcis, pre-phylloxera vines survive because the soils are unsuitable for phylloxera. These ungrafted vines are also better able to withstand Sardinia’s characteristic drought and high salt levels, enabling cultivation along the coast. The vines are trellis-trained.
Grapes
Carefully selected grapes are used, combining the local Vermentino variety with Chardonnay in balanced proportions.
