Angolature

Angolature ran from 20 August to 3 September 2021 and formed the first half of Angolature: Accadrà da Michele Satta, followed by Fermento. The cycle was built around a question: whether everyone sees the same things or whether each person possesses a distinct angle on a changing world.

The winery became a meeting place between those who make wine and those who interpret the world, using its physical space as the point from which the spectator’s imagination could move towards an individual response. Lucia Satta framed a personal, conscious and original perspective as increasingly important in a society inclined towards conformity.

Emil Cottino, Andrea Noviello, Teresa Satta and Elena Maria Canavese were invited to present individual artistic languages through sculpture, photography and visual documentation. The event connected artistic freedom with the estate’s continuing practices of care, investigation, observation and experimentation.
