Fermento

Fermento ran from 10 September to 2 October 2021 as the second of two linked events in the Angolature: Accadrà da Michele Satta cycle. The programme asked whether people truly see the same reality or whether each person encounters the world from an individual angle.

The cellar served as a physical point of departure for imagination and encounters between the art of making wine and the art of interpreting the world. Lucia Satta, who conceived the event, presented a personal, conscious and necessarily limited perspective as an essential response to cultural conformity.

Guests Alice Corbetta and Sara Bargiacchi created a collaboration between painting and video art specifically for the occasion. The project continued the estate’s long-running programme of exhibitions, concerts and theatrical performances, linking artistic freedom to the care, observation, research and experimentation associated with Michele and Giacomo’s wine work.
