Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the Vigna del Lago estate in Val di Cava, within the municipality of Montalcino.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested and selected entirely by hand at optimal ripeness. Fermentation and skin-contact maceration take place in temperature-controlled cement tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures for 24 months in French oak barrels, followed by six months in concrete tanks.
Tasting profile
Powerful, with a firm tannic structure. After several years in the cellar, it develops a harmonious character.
