Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are situated at 300 metres above sea level, with a planting density of 3,600–5,300 vines per hectare.
Grapes
The blend comprises 85% Sangiovese and 15% Ciliegiolo.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in September. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel and cement tanks at a controlled temperature of 27–30 °C for 12–15 days.
Ageing
The wine matures in cement tanks.
Tasting profile
Complex, elegant and deep, with a balanced character.

Annual production is 60,000 bottles.
