Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The estate vineyards are in San Gimignano, in the heart of Tuscany, at approximately 350 m above sea level. The soils consist mainly of yellow sandstone and alumina-rich material. The continental climate is influenced by the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Grapes
Selected Vernaccia grapes are supplemented by a small proportion of other white varieties.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness. They undergo overnight cold maceration and are gently pressed the following day. After low-temperature settling, the must ferments in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled 16 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees in stainless-steel tanks to preserve freshness and bright fruit character.
Tasting profile
Fresh, with bright fruit character.
