The fruit comes from Cantine San Giorgio vineyards in the province of Taranto.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, then crushed and pressed. The must ferments at a controlled temperature of 12–16 °C.
Label / history
The Cantine San Giorgio range takes its wine names from great thinkers and philosophers. This wine is named after Plutarch of Chaeronea, an ancient Greek philosopher, writer and moralist credited with more than 210 philosophical, journalistic and biographical works.
