Vineyard and terroir
The company's 25 hectares of vineyards extend along both sides of the historic Claudia Augusta road. The soils are predominantly fertile clay rich in mineral salts. The vineyards are close to the Piave River, which gives a distinctive character to wines from grapes grown along its banks.
Grapes
The blend contains 85% Glera. The remaining 15% may comprise Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Nero vinified as white wine, Verdiso, Bianchetta and Perera.

Delicate, with expressive apple and citrus notes and a notably persistent finish.
Label / history
The name 47 Anno Domini refers to 47 AD, when Emperor Claudius completed the Claudia Augusta, an important Roman road that runs through the winery and its vineyards.
