Tombacco

Tombacco was founded in the early 20th century as an agricultural company growing fruit. From the beginning it aimed to make products of the highest quality, guided by a love of the land and its traditions.

Encouraged by its results, the company entered the wine-growing sector in 1919 and established Vinicola Tombacco. It began by growing and processing grapes and later moved into winemaking. It also built a bottling facility equipped with modern technology. Over the years Vinicola Tombacco has brought a wide range of wines to regional and international markets.

The winery is based in Trebaseleghe, a small town near Padua, Treviso and Venice, with vineyards in the heart of the Triveneto area. The region lies very close to the sea, but mountain ranges shelter it from the wind, and many rivers run through it. These conditions allow the vines to produce generous harvests and give the wines a rich, particularly refined character.
