Tasting profile
Rich, bright red in colour. The bouquet develops gradually, combining cherry, blackberry and plum preserves with black-cherry syrup and balsamic nuances. Menthol and anise lift notes of cocoa and cinnamon, followed by candied citrus peel, potpourri, mineral accents and redcurrant.
The palate is soft and structured, shaped by tension and freshness. A savoury quality and enveloping tannins support a balanced, persistent finish.
Label / history
The name honours Giancarlo, who conceived and pursued the wine but died without having the opportunity to taste it.
