Vineyard and terroir
The wine is made from the tips of the most suitable bunches selected in the vineyards. Its pronounced mineral and savoury character is associated with Gattinara's volcanic, rocky subsoil.
Vinification
Only the selected tips of the bunches are vinified as a white wine. The project grew from research into bunch maturation conducted at Travaglini between 2007 and 2010.
Ageing
The wine spends 48 months on the lees.
Tasting profile
Brilliant pale yellow, with a fine, persistent perlage. Aromas evoke bread crust and dried fruit, accompanied by pronounced mineral notes reminiscent of the volcanic rock beneath the vineyards.
Taut and pleasant on the palate, with good balance and substantial structure. Marked acidity leads into a lively, savoury finish.

Nebolè began in 2010 as an idea, research project and wine centred on precise selection within the grape bunch.
