DRINKS opens ANYWHERE network to multi-supplier alcohol checkout
DRINKS launched the ANYWHERE Supplier Network on 29 October 2026, bringing Cakebread Cellars, PlumpJack Collection of Wineries and Clif Family Winery into a system designed to place products from multiple licensed alcohol suppliers in 1 cart.
One integration, multiple suppliers
DRINKS said the network allows online merchants to add beverage alcohol from multiple licensed wineries and retailers through 1 integration and complete the purchase in a single checkout. Cakebread Cellars, PlumpJack Collection of Wineries and Clif Family Winery are joining the company’s growing group of licensed suppliers.1
The October 2026 rollout moves ANYWHERE beyond individual enterprise integrations to a programmatic network serving multiple suppliers. DRINKS presents the system as a link between the $285 billion US beverage-alcohol sector and the wider digital economy.1
Compliance and fulfillment
ANYWHERE divides a cart into supplier-specific sub-orders. Each is checked independently and in real time against the relevant licensing, tax, age-verification and shipping requirements, then sent to the appropriate licensed seller for fulfillment. If 1 sub-order fails a regulatory check, it is held while other eligible transactions continue.1
Wineries and licensed retailers can use ANYWHERE’s Shopify and Commerce7 integrations for programmatic onboarding instead of building a separate connection for every merchant. Suppliers retain control over products, prices and fulfillment, while digital merchants can offer alcohol without holding inventory or alcohol licenses.1
DRINKS said the infrastructure supporting its ANYWHERE commerce and ASSURE regulatory-technology platforms has processed 14 million online direct-to-consumer alcohol transactions, with cumulative value exceeding $1.3 billion.1
Established commerce relationships
The supplier network expands on DRINKS’ enterprise commerce relationships with Instacart, Quince, UrbanStems and Half Baked Harvest, each of which offers alcohol products through ANYWHERE.1
Licensed producers and retailers can apply to join the ANYWHERE Supplier Network through the company’s supplier-network page. Digital merchants can learn more through the ANYWHERE page.1
A transaction layer for AI commerce
DRINKS also positions ANYWHERE for AI-driven and agentic shopping. The company says an AI agent may discover products and initiate checkout, but cannot hold an alcohol license or serve as either seller or buyer of record. Each transaction must still connect a licensed seller with a verified adult aged 21 or older through a machine-readable process.1
Industry recognition
The launch coincided with DRINKS being named a 2026 Inc. Power Partner in AI, Technology & Development for the 2nd consecutive year. The awards assess business-to-business companies using customer feedback and an independent evaluation.1
DRINKS also reached Shopify Platinum Partner status, the highest level of the Shopify Partner Program. The company describes ANYWHERE as infrastructure coordinating compliance, tax, routing and payments for regulated products in digital commerce.1
