Nabeeth launches Palestinian wine collection in Britain
The company founded by chef and author Fadi Kattan and wine professional Anna Patrowicz is introducing British consumers to Palestinian wines, including bottles made from the indigenous Dabouki and Bitouni grapes.
Nabeeth Wine & Spirits announced on October 26, 2026, that it is offering a collection of Palestinian wines, beers and gifts in Britain. Founded by Palestinian chef and author Fadi Kattan and wine professional Anna Patrowicz, the company works with producers including Cremisan, Taybeh, Ashkar and Jascala. The announcement was issued as a company press release and does not constitute an independent assessment of the products.1
The range highlights Dabouki and Bitouni, indigenous grape varieties cultivated in Palestine for generations, as well as wines made from internationally recognized varieties. Nabeeth presents the collection as an introduction to the diversity of Palestinian vineyards and winemaking traditions in the eastern Mediterranean.1
Agriculture under pressure
According to the company, West Bank farmers contend with restricted access to agricultural land, checkpoints, road closures and risks of violence or damage to agricultural property. These conditions can disrupt the year-round work required in vineyards—from pruning and soil care to moving harvested grapes to wineries—and add logistical and economic pressure for farmers and small producers.1
Kattan said the harvest connects the land and its cultivators with generations of Palestinian food and wine culture. He argued that supporting farmers, winemakers and artisans helps preserve both livelihoods and traditions, while bottles sold in Britain can introduce drinkers to the people behind the wines. Nabeeth says it aims to develop lasting relationships with British importers, retailers and consumers.1
A market for indigenous grapes
Patrowicz said Palestinian wines possess a distinct identity and that Dabouki and Bitouni remain unfamiliar to most British wine drinkers. She described establishing a UK market as a way to make the wines more accessible, build durable relationships with producers and support the continuation of their work.1
Collections, gifts and beer
The seasonal offer lists four products: Karm Al-Rahib – Cremisan Wine Introduction, priced at £81.50; The Red Lands, a Palestinian red-wine collection priced at £192; Beit Al-Karm – Prestige Palestinian Wine Selection, a premium assortment priced at £243.50; and From Our Land to Your Glass – Nabeeth Gift Card, available from £25.1
Nabeeth also offers Taybeh craft beer and non-alcoholic beer as part of its Palestinian drinks range. No individual wine names, vintages or scores were provided in the announcement.1
