About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are in Cefalù, north of Palermo, on the northern side of low mountain slopes near the Madonie at 300–400 m above sea level. The soils are predominantly clay and stone.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in early September. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at 28–30 °C for 20 days, followed by 20–25 days of maceration.
Ageing
The wine matures for 18 months in French oak barrels and a further 18 months in bottle.

Refined and inviting, with a distinctive aroma and flavour.
