About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow at 750 m above sea level in the communes of Castiglione and Randazzo. The vineyards have black soils composed of sand, minerals and volcanic ash.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in the second half of October and fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The wine matures first in steel tanks and then for two months in second-fill oak barriques.
