About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Nerello Mascalese grows in the municipalities of Castiglione di Sicilia and Randazzo, at 750 m above sea level on north- and northeast-facing slopes. The soil is black, with sand and minerals. Planting density is 8,000 vines per hectare.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in the second week of October. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and bright fruit flavours. Malolactic fermentation is prevented for the same reason.
Tasting profile
A light, refreshing dry rosé with a summery feel.
