Intense golden yellow in colour. On the nose, it offers freshness and elegance, opening with notes of white peach, pineapple, and delicate hints of lemon zest. On the palate, its lively freshness fills the mouth and accompanies the entire tasting experience. The body is full and well-structured, supported by a light yet noticeable tannin. Flavours of grapefruit and fresh elderflower emerge. The finish is savoury and persistent. 2023
DA·DI TOSCANA I.G.T. BIANCO 2023 Born from Virginie’s intuition to rediscover the vocation of the Cortona area for the production of great white wines from indigenous grapes, Da·Di Bianco condenses all of Avignonesi’s desire to experiment. 2023 VINTAGE The 2023 vintage will be remembered as one of the most complex and demanding seasons ever faced. The final quality of the grapes, remarkable given the conditions, only partially offsets an unprecedented loss in volume. It was a year that laid bare the fragility of our profession and highlighted the growing need to live with an increasingly structural climatic uncertainty. TASTING NOTES Intense golden yellow colour with green hues. On the nose, it is fresh and elegant with notes of white peach and green apple, pineapple and delicate hints of lemon. On the palate, the entire mouth is pervaded by a marked freshness that accompanies the entire tasting experience. The body is voluminous and structured, accompanied by silky tannins that caress the palate. Citrus notes of grapefruit and fresh elderflower emerge. The finish is savoury and persistent, worthy of a great ageing wine. ..................................................................................................................................................... DA·DI TOSCANA I.G.T. BIANCO 2022 Born from Virginie’s intuition to rediscover the vocation of the Cortona area for the production of great white wines from indigenous grapes, Dadi bianco condenses all of Avignonesi’s desire to experiment. 2022 VINTAGE A dry winter and a cool early spring accompanied the vines to budding. The abundant rainfall in April proved crucial for the continuation of the season. In fact, from May until harvesting, our vines had to go through an extremely dry summer. Their high resilience allowed them to support the grapes without high stress. Close to the harvest, we were able to benefit from a good temperature range crucial to preserving the fragrance in the wines. TASTING NOTES Intense yellow colour. A harmonious wine with a distinct and fresh personality. The nose is elegant with delicate notes of pineapple, white peach, elderflower and white flowers. Notes of lime and wildflower honey emerge on the palate. The marked acidity makes it long and elegant. The finish is savoury and persistent. .....................................................................................................................................................
