2015 harvest
Abundant winter rain preceded a slowly developing summer, intense July heat, a cooler August with several rainy days and a very dry autumn. Heat caused the vines to protect themselves and delayed maturation. The two SP68 wines received 15 days of maceration, while Frappato and Siccagno remained on skins for slightly more than three weeks. Following malolactic fermentation, the pronounced acidity and tannins became more integrated, leaving freshness and balance.
