First harvest in the Bombolieri cellar

Wine from the 2012 harvest was transferred into the new building before the first grapes arrived. The larger facility introduced an all-concrete tank setup and required the team to adapt quickly. Once fermentation began, the familiar aromas of must reassured Arianna that the vineyard remained the decisive influence despite the change of cellar. A cool July and August, a windy season and healthy grapes made 2013 a late vintage; picking paused and restarted as the estate waited for full maturity, and macerations were slightly shortened with daily punch-downs and pump-overs.
