Slow Wine 2024

The Bergaglio family has long cultivated and vinified in Rovereto. The operation entered a new phase as Marco Bergaglio sought additional partners and synergies, while retaining the development of Cortese and its different expressions as the central objective. Hospitality was identified as a future avenue for giving the estate renewed vitality.

The 15 ha of vineyards are entirely planted to Cortese and divided between two zones at approximately 250 m above sea level. White marl near the Rovereto cellar contributes freshness and pronounced aromatic intensity; clay in Tassarolo supplies greater structure. The holdings also include very old vines. Production is designed to remain faithful to Cortese and to the contrasting character of the two growing areas.
