Bertani named Winery of the Year

Gambero Rosso named Bertani Winery of the Year in the Italian Wines 2023 guide. The recognition coincided with the release of The Library monograph, which presented 43 of the 48 historic Amarone vintages then held in Grezzana.

The award recognized a long-term trajectory rather than the performance of one wine, emphasizing consistency, determination, agricultural and winemaking expertise, and the ability to remain rooted in classicism while selectively developing new ideas. The formal presentation was scheduled for 15 October at Palazzo della Civiltà in Rome.
