About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on south-facing slopes overlooking Florence, at an altitude of 250 m. The soils are clay and marl, and the vines are no more than ten years old.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand from late September to early October. The must ferments in stainless-steel tanks at no more than 29 °C, with alcoholic fermentation lasting about three weeks.
Ageing
The wine matures in oak barriques for 15–18 months. It is then blended and allowed a short period of stabilization before bottling.

Label / history
“Testamatta” translates as “crazy head” and reflects Bibi Graetz’s restless, expressive personality and creative approach to winemaking.
