About this wine
Grapes: Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. First vintage: 1988. Vinification: the varieties and vineyard parcels are fermented separately with spontaneous fermentation in temperature-controlled truncated-conical stainless-steel tanks. Aging takes place in oak before the final blend is assembled. Characteristics: full-bodied, complex and elegant, with ultra-fine tannins, layered dark and blue fruit, and a focused, savoury finish.
