About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from ten plots in Curtefranca. The vines are 34 years old on average.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-picked in the first week of September and macerated on their skins for one day. Fermentation and malolactic fermentation take place in new oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine ages on its lees in oak barrels for nine months, followed by two and a half years in bottle in the winery’s cellars before release.
Tasting profile
The aroma is delicate and inviting. The palate is rounded, complex and elegant, with excellent structure.

The wine was first produced in 1893.
