History
The first vineyard was planted in 1968.
A young Maurizio Zanella transformed the property into a winery and involved chef de cave André Dubois. Their work established the foundations of the Ca’ del Bosco production method and led to the first Pinot di Franciacorta Millesimato.
Cuvée Prestige began in 1976 as Franciacorta Pinot and evolved through later names and editions.
Vintage Collection Dosage Zéro began in 1978.
The first Annamaria Clementi project took shape from the 1980 vintage. The R.S. programme later extended long sur-pointe aging to Cuvée Prestige, Vintage Collection and Annamaria Clementi.
The estate developed a distinctive identity combining viticulture, precision winemaking, contemporary art and architecture.

1976The wine now known as Cuvée Prestige was first produced as Franciacorta Pinot.

1980The concept that later became Annamaria Clementi R.S. began with bottles held sur pointe for very long aging.
1991Cuvée Prestige evolved under the name Franciacorta Brut N.V.
Terroir
The estate works across the Franciacorta hills. The official site presents vineyard identity through detailed parcel and vintage material and describes its wines as interpretations of different Franciacorta soils and microclimates.
Winemaking
Grape washingSelected bunches are washed and dried before pressing.
Gravity handlingGrapes and must are handled with minimal mechanical stress.
Separate base winesVineyards and varieties are vinified individually.
Long lees agingFranciacorta wines mature for extended periods on lees.
The official identity pages present viticulture as the starting point of the Ca’ del Bosco method. Grapes are selected carefully and individual vineyard character is preserved through separate handling.
The Ca’ del Bosco method includes strict grape selection, washing and drying of bunches, gravity handling, controlled pressing, separate vinification of base wines and prolonged lees aging. The R.S. programme extends aging sur pointe for reserve releases. Each wine page publishes vintage blend, reserve-wine proportions and technical data.
Philosophy
Ca’ del Bosco treats winemaking as an art grounded in precision, vineyard identity and continuous technical innovation. Nature determines the raw material; the winery’s role is to translate it without losing detail.
