Ca’ Rugate celebrates 100 years of its founder Beo

The estate marked the hundredth birthday of Fulvio Tessari, known as “Beo,” whose decision to invest in wine laid the foundations for the family winery. His relationship with the land was documented in the monograph The Magnificent Hundredth of Fulvio Beo Tessari: The Life and Miracles of a Man with His Feet on the Ground and in the film Fulvio Beo, Story of a History, produced under the supervision of Mediataste.

At the time, the family tended more than 70 ha in Soave Classico and Valpolicella, growing Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave, Durella, Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone.
