Doing training from Barolo to Bordeaux

Following experience in Barolo and Barbaresco, Michele Tessari travelled with close members of the winemaking team to Bordeaux, visiting cooperages and châteaux and comparing approaches with leading producers.

The trip prompted discussion of future wine styles under rising heat accumulation and of a market increasingly interested in drinkability rather than sheer power. The team concluded that both red and white wines should preserve complexity and territorial articulation while reaching a high level of drinkability. The visit formed part of a broader specialist-training programme based on research and comparison.
