About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The organic Glera fruit is grown in eastern Italy, at Tenute Arnaces in the small commune of Mortegliano, in the province of Udine. The estate has 25 hectares of vineyards planted to Glera and Pinot Grigio and works closely with Campagnola. Yields for the Glera used in this wine are limited to no more than 3.5 kg per vine.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at night, gently pressed and subjected to cold maceration. The must then ferments in small stainless-steel tanks for at least 90 days using the Charmat method.
