Canevel launches San Biagio Brut Nature Valdobbiadene DOCG

Following its preview at Vinitaly, Canevel released San Biagio Brut Nature as a limited edition. The wine is made from Glera grown in Valdobbiadene’s hillside vineyards and follows the local sui lieviti or col fondo tradition, the oldest form of sparkling wine associated with Valdobbiadene. Secondary fermentation takes place in bottle and the yeasts are not removed. The name refers to the Valdobbiadene hill where the winery is based. The release joined an evolving portfolio distributed in at least 40 countries and was presented as a link between the area’s winemaking heritage and contemporary Canevel.
