The 2025 Harvest

The 2025 growing season combined June temperatures above 37°C with intense July thunderstorms and localised hail in northeastern Italy. Careful agronomic management limited the effect on overall grape quality. At Canevel, the Valdobbiadene vineyards reached the pre-harvest stage with healthy grapes, ideal analytical parameters and a promising balance between acidity and sugar. Production was expected to be more stable than in 2024. Harvesting was due to begin during the first ten days of September with fruit for the DOCG wines made by the Setàge method, before moving to the Terre del Faè and Campofalco crus.
