About this wine
Grapes
Sangiovese leads the blend and defines the wine's style, with small amounts of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested entirely by hand, from the last days of September to mid-October. They are destemmed and gently pressed, then fermented with selected yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 26 °C. Maceration lasts 18–20 days.
Ageing
The wine ages for 18 months in 5 hL French oak barrels, followed by at least 6 months in bottle after bottling.
Tasting profile
Charming, with a distinctly Tuscan character. Made with traditional methods and modern technology.
