Rohesia Negroamaro: let’s uncap every doubt!

The 2024 Rohesia Negroamaro Rosato introduced the first screw cap used by Cantele. Its oxygen transmission rate is below 0.1 mg O₂ per year, more than ten times lower than the closure it replaced. The change was intended to protect freshness, reduce variation between bottles, eliminate cork taint and preserve an opened bottle more reliably.

The change coincided with the first major label revision in ten years. Elisa Costa created the updated design around the name Rohesia, derived from the Medieval Latin word for “rose.” A geometric flower, copper and blush colors, and petal-like triangles connect the identity with rosé, sunset light, Negroamaro vineyards and the winds of the Salento plain.
