About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the communes of Salice Salentino, San Pietro Vernotico and Guagnano in southeastern Puglia. The wider Salento peninsula lies between the Adriatic and Ionian seas; its climate is mild, and fresh sea air supports ripening.
Vinification
The grapes are usually harvested in mid-September at optimal ripeness and carefully selected before pressing. The must ferments in temperature-controlled steel tanks.
