Caruso & Minini, una storia di vino tra le campagne di Salemi e l’antico baglio di Marsala
Mediterranean wind, saline air and temperature changes frame the inland vineyards around Salemi, while transformation, maturation and waiting take place in the early-twentieth-century Marsala baglio. The Caruso family's knowledge passed through four generations, encompassing pruning, reading difficult seasons and judging ripeness. In 2004, Stefano Caruso's agricultural experience and Mario Minini's northern Italian commercial knowledge came together to create Caruso & Minini. Giovanna and Rosanna Caruso later joined their father, opening a fourth-generation phase focused on sustainability, communication and bottle design. Although the wines now travel to many international markets, their geographical starting point remains concentrated in western Sicily.
